Kevin Eichorst is an artist and educator whose work (through the use of artist books, photography, printmaking, and collage) examines cycles of growth and decay as symbols for how trauma and impermanence influence the construction of masculinity, identity, and domesticity.

“As you get older, they warn you about loss, how it will become part of life. You don’t believe them at first. But you’ll begin to accept that you’re going to lose the things you love bit by bit. But then another surprise, you live on and those things you’ve lost stay with you, never really fading. And one by one these things drive you absolutely insane. And these things drive you towards clarity, too.” (Bud Smith - Elegy from Good Luck: Episode Three)
